Bernd Schwarzer

Bernd Schwarzer (1954) lives and works in Düsseldorf, among other places. In the 1970s he studied at the renowned Düsseldorf Art Academy. Works by Bernd Schwarzer are in various renowned collections, such as the Landesmuseum in Bonn, the Kunsthalle in Bremen, the Palace of Fine Arts (Bozar) in Brussels, the Foreign Office in Berlin or the Albertina in Vienna.

Bernd Schwarzer deals with social issues. His series of works on the topics of reunification, Europe and human rights are particularly well known.
