Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso (1871–1973) is considered a pioneer of expressionism and was one of the most important exponents of cubism. At the start of the twentieth century the artist reduced objects, landscapes, interiors, people, and animals to their most basic forms and arranged them in the image space in a way that makes them still recognizable despite their abstraction.

Today the world’s most important museums regularly feature Pablo Picasso’s works, and in recent years his later works in particular have been afforded museum exhibitions, including one at Düsseldorf’s Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in 2020.

We are proud that we also feature Pablo Picasso in our program and that we are regularly able to present you with etchings and/or lithographs.
