Hans Peter Adamski
Hans Peter Adamski studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy under Joseph Beuys, among others. After his studies, the trained architect worked as an artist in Italy, the USA and Cologne.
Adamski is one of the most important representatives of the Neue Wilden (New Wild Ones) of the 1980s, a group of artists who revamped the art world with a new, life-affirming style of painting.
In addition to Adamski, the Neue Wilden include: Elvira Bach, J.G. Dokoupil, Horst Gläsker, Leiko Ikemura, Markus Lüpertz, Jörg Immendorff, A.R. Penck, Salomé, Stefan Szczesny, Bernd Zimmer.
