Sigrid Nienstedt

Sigrid Nienstedt (1962, Krebeck) lives and works in Hamburg. In addition to exhibitions in the U.S., Florence, Milan, Paris, Munich, Berlin or Frankfurt, among others, she was represented at art fairs such as Art Miami and Cologne Art Cologne.

The artist's dominant themes are landscapes and cityscapes, which are often puristic and seem surreal. In Nienstedt's works, landscape always conveys itself as timeless and graceful; it becomes clear to the viewer that he or she is only part of a larger whole.
