Tony Cragg
Tony Cragg (1949) is an artist of international renown as well as one of the world’s most prominent sculptors. He has been honored with numerous art prizes, including the prestigious Turner Prize awarded by London’s Tate Gallery.
Works by Tony Cragg can be found in the collections of some of the very best museums, including the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and the MoMA in New York.
Born in Liverpool, Tony Cragg has lived and worked in the Wuppertal, Germany since the 1970s. After having the honor of leading the prestigious Kunstakademie Düsseldorf as its rector, since 2003 he has been devoted to his “Waldfrieden” sculpture park.
