Powerful colors! Energetic! Pulsating! - These are the works of Berlin shooting star Christian Awe. From the University of the Arts to Princeton and Yale Christian Awe (*1978, Berlin) lives and works in Berlin. He studied at the Berlin University of the Arts, was a master student of Daniel Richter  and graduated with Georg Baselitz . He later held teaching positions at Princeton and Yale Universities. From up-and-coming Berlin artist to international demand Awe is renowned throughout Germany and has long been in demand internationally. His works are presented in museum exhibitions. They can also be found in renowned collections, such as the collection of the German Bundestag. Enjoyment of experiment and strategy Christian Awe works experimentally and strategically at the same time. His pictures are created in the tension between artistic calculation and spontaneity.
