Thomas Kleemann

Thomas Kleemann (1954 Geesthacht, Schleswig-Holstein) received international scholarships and was honored by the Art Award of the Federal Minister of Justice . From 1975 to 1981 he studied, among other things, painting at the Berlin University of the Arts . Today the artist works and lives in Berlin and Melz. Kleeman's works are in many private and public collections in Germany and abroad and have been shown in more than 30 international solo exhibitions. His still lifes and landscapes are characterized by special spatiality between abstraction and representationalism. Kleemann has gained particular fame for his landscapes and still lifes, which are characterized by a special design of space and perspective and oscillate between abstraction and figuration.
