Daniel Spoerri

Daniel Spoerri (*1930, Romania) is considered one of the most important representatives of Object Art. As a co-founder of the artist group Nouveau Réalisme, whose members included Niki de Saint Phalle and Yves Klein, Daniel Spoerri is an important artist of the 1960s. His oeuvre includes object art, performances, dance, painting and collages. With his works, Spoerri has achieved international renown and has exhibited in numerous important art houses. Always oriented to life and inspired by it, Spoerri's works often focus on everyday objects or people in action and movement.
