Erwin Heerich

Erwin Heerich (1922-2004) is considered one of the most important German sculptors of the 20th century. In the 1950s, as a student, he shared a master studio with Joseph Beuys at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . Later, between 1960 and 1980, he held a professorship there himself. Heerich was allowed to participate and exhibit at the documenta in Kassel twice.
